Chiesa di S. Agostino

L'Oratorio nella sua struttura attuale risale al Settecento: venne ampliato e rinnovato completamente nel 1759. La chiesetta aveva già il portico attuale e all'interno delle statue di gesso, una nicchia con la Madonna della Cintura e sulla parte in fondo dietro all'altare un quadro rappresentava la Madonna di S. Bernardo, Sant'Agostino e Santa Monica.

Oltre la balaustra, fino al 1830 circa. esisteva un altare dedicato a sant'Antonio da Padova e alla Madonna. All'interno dell'Oratorio si conservano varie opere d'arte tra cui parecchi quadri, un arazzo di braccia 3x4 m che raffigura il transito della Madonna. Si può ammirare anche una statua di Sant'Agostino, otto statue di angeli e quattro statue posizionate in varie nicchie rappresentanti tre santi e una santa. Lo stile architettonico dell'Oratorio si esprime secondo il gusto barocco dell'epoca.
The Oratory dates back to the 18th century: it was enlarged and completely renovated in 1759. The small church already had the current portico and inside some plaster statues, a niche with the Madonna della Cintura and at the bottom, behind the altar, a painting representing the Madonna of S. Bernard, Saint Augustine and Saint Monica.

Beyond the balustrade, until about 1830, there was an altar dedicated to S. Antonio da Padova and to the Virgin Mary. Inside the Oratory, various works of art are preserved, including several paintings, a tapestry having the size of 3x4 m which represents the death of the Virgin Mary. You can also admire a statue of St. Augustine, eight statues of angels and four statues in various niches representing three male saints and one female saint. The architectural style of the Oratory is expressed according to the baroque taste of the time.
