The oratory dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel was built in the 18th century and later enlarged and embellished. In 1839, after long vicissitudes, it became a parish; but independence was short-lived, since in 1968 the parish of Scareno was joined to the parish of Aurano. The exterior of the building is simple: the facade is provided with a tympanum without decorations, it has a simple entrance door with three steps and an upper lunette opening, while the interior has a ceiling with finely decorated vaults.
