Located on a hill far away from the centre of the village, and surrounded by meadows and vineyards, it probably dates back to the second half of the 17th century. The exterior is simple, whitewashed with a fresco under the tympanum that depicts the Madonna and Child adored by St. James, while the interior shows three paintings above the altar and a frescoed vault. In the oratory, holy masses were not celebrated except on July 25, the day dedicated to the Saint and to the Rogations, processions that took place in spring for the blessing of the countryside, where all the population took part praying and singing sacred hymns to receive  good fruits from the earth. The holy mass is celebrated still today for the feast of St. James in July.
