Costume tradizionale femminile

“The particular characteristic of the dress of Premosello is the shawl, known as “scupazza”, made using the crochet and with long fringes, for which it was given this name, because they recall the long bristles of the brooms. This special shawl, worn with the ends crossed on the chest, is well documented also in the old pictures of our village”. From “Tanti superbi modi di ornarsi”.

The dress is whole, sleeveless, buttoned on the front, black, with round neckline. Under the dress is a long-sleeved white blouse, while a black apron is worn on the dress. More colourful decorations are on the headscarf to be worn on the head.
